firm is a regional certified public accounting and consulting firm
specializing in auditing and tax services for government agencies,

services to clients throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New
Jersey and help businesses and individuals achieve their goals by
delivering timely, accurate and innovative professional services. For
more than a quarter of a century we have met and exceeded the
expectations of our clients and our communities with integrity and
enthusiasm. Our firm has offices in Wilmington and Dover, Delaware and
Media, Pennsylvania.

firm is organized as a general partnership, and each partner has the
authority and responsibility for directing and supervising services to
clients. Each partner is fully accountable to our clients and partners
for the quality of services rendered and the efficiency of the work.
We have a professional commitment to be concerned with the affairs of
each of our clients on a continuing basis.
Our partners are members of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, from our inception we have served as instructors for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for a variety of accounting, auditing and tax topics.
Barbacane, Thornton & Company is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Private
Practice Section which assures compliance in maintaining quality of
auditing standards application in member firms. We underwent and
successfully completed our Peer Review in January of 2005.

Thornton & Company maintains strict control over the quality of all
client services to ensure our work meets the auditing standards of the
profession as well as the firm's own standards of technical excellence
and professionalism.
We use
advanced auditing concepts, approaches and techniques to meet quality
auditing standards in conducting audits. Our review of the system of
internal control is designed to identify potential weaknesses in an
organization's accounting system. Our audit program for transactions
specifies the audit procedures and detailed tests that are needed.
