Timothy Sawyer is a graduate of Wesley College and is currently licensed to practice in Delaware and Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). In addition to his CPA licensure, Tim has the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, indicating his advanced proficiency in finance, operations, strategy and management. His past experience as an adjunct professor serves the firm through his skills at training and developing staff. He has been a presenter at our firm’s in-house and client seminars.

Tim specializes in the audits of governmental entities and is the partner in charge of all the firm’s Delaware charter school audits. He has been instrumental in assisting his audit clients in the completion of well-planned, coordinated and timely audits. He has also assisted his audit clients in understanding their responsibilities for financial accountability and reporting.

Tim has supported the community through his volunteer work as a youth baseball coach and continues to support the community through his involvement and support of Special Olympics.
